How does RC starter box work?
Starter boxes have a belt attached from an electric motor to a rubber wheel. When you press your car down on the box it turns the motor on. This rubber wheel makes contact with the fly wheel on your engine and starts your car.
How do you start a remote control car?
Make sure you have your batteries in the car and radio. Turn on the switch on the radio and the switch on the car. Just pull the throttle a couple of times. Leave the air filter out so you can see when you pull the throttle the air hole opens and then closes when you let go of the throttle.

You have to fuel it up, make sure it has fresh batteries for servos and receiver, double-check air filter and glow plug and check your tires. It also takes longer to do basic after-run maintenance.
Why does my RC glow plug keep burning out?
Too lean, too much Nitro combined with too hot a glow plug, too tight of squish clearance. Very much likely too lean is the main culprit. That’s the problem you face when using an ultra hot glow plug and 25-30% Nitro. Gotta run sloppy rich to keep the plug doused and cooled off.
How many volts does a RC glow plug need?
Most glow plugs require 12V, though some use other voltages. Make sure the engine is cold, and the glow plugs are turned off. Disconnect the power cable from the glow plugs.
