How much does it cost to get into Fort DeSoto?

Fort De Soto is open seven days per week from 7 am to dusk. Entrance to the park is free; however, there is a $5.00 fee for a parking permit. You pay at the entrance booth, and they do accept credit cards. Persons entering the park on foot or bike are free.

How long can you stay at Fort DeSoto campground?

From January through April, occupancy is limited to 14 nights in any 30-day period. From May through December, occupancy may be extended for an additional 14 nights depending upon availability of campsites. Designated pet area camping spots are 86-164.
