TPG’s equipment uses either ADSL2+ or VDSL technology over the copper cables within the building. We do not guarantee provision of Service to every applicant. The Service is only available to addresses within relevant network coverage area where there is available infrastructure to provision the Service.

Can I use any router with TPG?

Welcome to the community! You may use any VDSL modem/router for TPG-FTTB. However, we’d like to set your expectation that the VoIP feature of the service will only work using our supplied modem/router.

Can you use your own router with TPG?

Yes, but only if it is a TPG approved modem. We are unable to provide Technical Support for modems other than those that TPG distribute.
